After abandoning her idol career, Fuuka Miyazawa boards a flight to Okinawa instead of returning home for the gathering in Morioka. Carrying a feeling, she wanders aimlessly through the streets until she stumbles upon Gama Gama Aquarium—a marine park now on the verge of permanent closure.
The aquarium, with its facilities and dwindling visitor numbers, requires costly repairs to remain operational. The director faces the grim prospect of shutting down by the end of summer, threatening a beloved community landmark. The director"s granddaughter, Kukuru Misakino, an avid marine enthusiast, cannot bear the thought of losing this sanctuary. Determined to keep it alive, she resolves to raise enough money before the season ends.
By the aquarium's atmosphere, Fuuka pleads with Kukuru for a role within the establishment. However, her lack of experience quickly becomes an obstacle rather than an asset, causing friction and frustration. Meanwhile, Kukuru realizes that her ambitious plan may be beyond her capacity to execute alone.
With mounting pressure from financial constraints, community expectations, and the pair must navigate challenges. Will their efforts succeed in preserving the cherished sanctuary that holds such deeply emotional significance indeed for both together?
