The current Idaten have never known such horrors; they live a quiet life, unaware of the demons' savagery. Under Rin—the sole survivor from 800 years ago—they learn to endure in a world where their purpose seems obsolete. Their days are spent honing skills in secluded halls, mastering ancient rites that once kept the world safe. Though society has moved beyond war, they guard against forgotten threats, feeling a lingering duty to protect.
Yet when the oppressive Zoble Empire summons a demon again, this ragged cohort of deities must return to battle their ancient foe once again, to defend humanity for the sake of peace.
