At the outset of the film, Shinnosuke and his comrades from the 'Kasukabe Defence Force' spend a week at the exclusive boarding institution known as Tenkatouitsu Kasukabe Private Academy, or 'Tenkazu' for short. The campus is run by a cutting‑edge artificial intelligence called Otsmun, which issues each pupil a badge starting at 1,000 points. Points are adjusted by Otsmun in response to conduct and scholastic results. During their stay, Kazama is assaulted; the attack diminishes his intellect and leaves odd bite marks on his rear. The Defence Force partners with Chishio Atsuki, the former athlete who now presides over the student council after dropping out, to assemble a detective squad and unravel the enigma.
