After spending Christmas camping in the mountains with new companions, Rin Shima sets out on a solo trip to witness the New Year sunrise over the sea. Everything proceeds as planned until unexpected weather blocks the return roads, rendering a comeback impossible. Stranded for several days, Rin is welcomed by Nadeshiko Kagamihara to stay at her grandmother"s home.
