Peta, the older sister of the brilliant schoolgirl-inventor Null, died as a result of an accident. Null struggles to accept this loss, and then the girl, in order to ease her grief, builds "Robo-Peta" – a robot with the appearance of her sister. But the robot does not become a complete copy of the deceased and, to the creator's surprise, it displays its own individuality.
